SPEEDSTER armchair

This smoothly shaped lounge chair does credit to its name. The sleek lining and slanted back make that this lounge chair gives you the feeling as if you are sitting in a fast accelerating sports car. Obviously therefore that this chair derives its name from a Porsche model from the fifties of the last century. The leather covering of the armrests was inspired by the leather covered steering wheels.

Gerard van den Berg did not give this armchair the name Speedster for nothing. Thanks to the narrow lines and sloping back, you have the feeling that you are being pressed into the back of a fast-moving sports car. "Speedster" owes its name to the Porsche model from the 1950s. The leather steering wheels inspired Gerard van den Berg for the upholstery of the armrests.
