SEAT24 armchair
The Seat24 is an armchair with a turn-tilt mechanism and designed by Gerard van den Berg.
A few years ago, during flight UA132 in the United States, Gerard van den Berg was inspired by the plane chair he was sitting in. He found the shape and the comfort of the chairs very impressive. The chair has a higher and thin back and the shape of the armrests are based on the wings of the airplane. We can thank the name Seat24 of the chair number Gerard was sitting at during this flight.
