Manual seat and leg raising - flexibility without a motor
The Hüsler Nest insert frame forms the supporting element in the construction of the Hüsler Nest bed system. Our insert frames are made of 100% natural solid wood for optimal breathability and are completely metal-free. The insert frame is constructed in two parts and consists of a head and foot section, which are connected with a fabric sleeve fixed to the foot section. When assembled, it comprises four cross-braces and two thin longitudinal bars. The Liforma spring element rests on these. This puts an end to creaking and squeaking during restless nights. Specially placed felts prevent noise from developing. The classic insert frame is available up to a width of 140 cm with a manually operated seat and leg raiser to adjust a raised position of the upper body or legs.
The manual seat and leg raiser allows you to adjust the head section to seven different angles from 12° to 53°. This function is particularly suitable for people who need to raise their upper body or legs for health reasons or who want to spend a longer period of time sitting up in bed, for example to watch TV, read or have breakfast in bed. The manual leg elevation can be adjusted in three stages: 5°, 9° and 12°.
The Hüsler Nest insert frame is placed loosely in the bed frame and does not need to be screwed in place.
