Alpaca wool/batiste – the super-light quilt

This super-light alpaca wool quilt offers more warmth with less weight. Alpaca wool is warm, dry, self-cleansing, hygienic and breathable. It is particularly suitable if you want to switch from a down to a woollen blanket. The alpaca wool / batiste mixture is cooler in summer and warmer in winter than the quilt with the wool / satin material combination. The quilt is quilted in a diamond pattern.

It is available in a summer or a winter version (the latter is heavier and has more filling). For those who find it difficult to make up their minds, the summer duvet has buttonholes on the sides and loose lacing, allowing two Solo duvets to be tied together to form a warm blanket.

Cover:

• 100 % cotton-batiste

Filling:

• 90 % alpaca wool from the Valais
• 10 % Swiss sheep’s virgin wool processed to make an exclusive high pile woollen fleece

Filled weight:

• Solo 300 g/m2
• Duo 480 g/m2

Care

• Self-cleansing
• Air regularly and shake gently
• Avoid exposure to sun
• Stains can be washed out with a generous quantity of carbonated water. Dirt marks on the cover are unavoidable.
• Should be replaced after 5 - 7 years, as the self-cleansing capacity of alpaca wool diminishes.
